Putney Tutor Teaching Method

It has been proven that we forget around 80% of the information we are told, especially if the information is not important to us.
My teaching method is to guide my students to figure out the answers to their own problems by connecting information they already know in a logical manner until they themselves arrive at the answer to their own questions.
This method of guided problem solving from first principles not only ensures they will not forget the information, it also boosts their confidence, core understanding and drastically improves their problem solving abilities and hence ability in the given subject area.
